Hera Grach (Herman Sorin). It wouldn't be the next history about Gavroche, from a poor childhood and a biryulyovsky court yard risen to beams of glory and national adoration. Herman's family is a bling-bling and for the Moscow measures. He also doesn't spread about himself sophisticated legends abounding with "white spots", suggesting the idea about difficult destiny. He doesn't simulate a guru and a great musician. He doesn't tell about how at night under a blanket he writes ingenious texts from which the world will shudder. He is a performer. Such significant for chanson people, as Klimenkov, Dneprov, Sheleg, Olga Pavlova write for him. As far as he is good in this form - everyone will solve by himself. But it is quite unequivocal that a new generation of serious and talented people to which singer Herman Sorin, better known to admirers of a chanson as Hera Grach, belongs come to chanson. I was born in Moscow on February 25th, 1970, at the first Moscow maternity hospital, - so I am a Moscow born and bred - in Sokolniki, still old, wooden where the gang "Black cat" tried to disappear when escaping from Sharapov with Zheglov. Then these old Sokolniki, wooden barracks, began to pull down and people moved to new dormitory areas, and we also in 1973 year or so, moved to Biryulyovo. Is it you a "biryulyovsky boy"? Well, no … I, in general, don't think myself to be a "biryulyovsky boy". Noways. Though, of course, process of formation occurred there! … I went to school, also studied at music school in the accordion class. However, there I was expelled. Well, not expelled, but … I tried to combine music school and sports - I was engaged in boxing, as many modern children, especially in such city, as Moscow where exist all the possibilities for this purpose - Palaces of the Pioneers, sports sections … Basically, of course, I was interested in boxing and also in football, hockey, skating sports, cycling … Were you given to sports by your parents or did you decide to go in for it by yourself? No, I went to sports by myself! As for music – my parents, but for sports - myself! From the first class I went to music school, then to boxing section in parallel. There was considered not so prestigious in yards to go with musical folders, with notes, with writing-books, and the one who was able to fight was the hero. Well, I - that was able to do it and I was respected in the yard, but all the same this folder seemed a burden and consequently in the 6-th class of music school I didn't pass examinations … Well, I missed classes much due to the competitions … And didn't they try to beat you in the yard for the musical folder? No, nobody decided. Because my sports achievements were much higher than the musical! In the muzykalka I was suggested re-examination in autumn, and I didn't want. Left by myself, so to speak. Certainly, with parents there was a terrible scandal! Grandmother was very much worried - she was fan, when Talkov performed on TV with the accordion: "Pure ponds, timid willows …» Grandmother loved me and, it is possible to tell, brought me up - parents worked a lot, and she was always at home … My parents … The father constantly was abroad with business trips – he was a military man, and mother a senior engineer in the military construction organization. I was a "hoky-poky"! Nobody had got sneakers – I had got! Nobody had got jeans – I had got! "Alaska" had only appeared – one or two for the whole Moscow – I had already got it! I was even a little bit ashamed of it before friends in the yard. Their parents were usual people who couldn't allow it themselves. No one, of course, reproached me, for it: "mother's darling, he had got everything ". Though, I had such possibilities after school! MGIMO, military academy, in general, everything without problems! But I would like most, to prove everyone that I could do something by myself and all the time I went by more difficult ways, I refused all benefits which they offered me. And so in many fields of activity I had any relatives. So, for example, my uncle was before Gusman a director of the House of Cinema, aunt was a ballerina in the Bolshoi Theater. Other aunt worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, supervised Brazil department. The first coffee that was imported to us was her business. Generally people were better-to-do! However, now practically we do not keep in touch. From time to time we are crossed on funeral, weddings … And do they know, that you became a singer, and of a quite specific genre? Yes, they do. Moreover, they are even proud of it. Though, there was such a moment when I reared and told that I wouldn’t be in the track of them and I didn’t need any help from them, I wanted to achieve everything by myself. And after that worked both a taxi driver, then repaired trolleybuses being an electrical engineer, and then went to work at the grain combine by a driver of bread carrier. Once on the road between Kashirka and Varshavka I, evidently, badly closed the door - and on the turn it opened … Gingerbreads and round cracknels covered all the districts! But everything was good, I didn’t pay money for it … In general, I’m lucky in my life… I think that my guardian angel actually exists and he is all the time nearby … And when I started singing, it was pleasant to my mother, father was indifferent to it, he knew only Vakhtang Kikabidze from all the music … When I began to sing chanson - mother at first thought it suspicious, but now she is proud of my albums. When "Freedom" album was produced, she told: "Beast" was better … Something was pleasant, and something wasn’t … Especially, parents saw that I grew …
